This Stowe School website was built with a desire to put into one place,
a little virtual reminder of The Stowe School (or Stowe Prep as it was
also known).
For those visitors who may be unfamiliar, The Stowe School,
on the Mountain Road in Stowe, Vermont USA had its beginnings in the early 1960's and offered young adults of high
school age, a private boarding school experience within the environmental backdrop of
beautiful Northern Vermont. With a curriculum heavily based in outdoor
education and "a hands on experience", students were given an educational
experience designed to motivate, develop, and learn. The school closed its doors in the 1990's
and the physical location is now a resort.
Come in and Browse.... and feel Welcome. If you feel
at all like I do, ...... sometimes I think it would be nice, if we could just
go back in time, sit along the banks of the Ranch Brook, and leave the
modern world miles away......
